We’ve had a pretty sad month over here at the 43Cards house. We had to say goodbye to Miss Thora at the beginning of October. She was in a lot of pain and the medicines just weren’t cutting it anymore. We loved her very much, and every day with her was just perfect. Just yesterday, our friend Celeste from Blue Dragon Collectibles gifted us an amazing clay figurine of Thora. It was a beautiful, and heartbreaking surprise. I think I scared Celeste with my instant ugly cry reaction, but look; it’s perfect!
As we try and get our lives back on some sort of track, I have been working on inventory for my Fall/Winter craft fairs. Last week was the Orange Harvest Festival. No, not a festival celebrating oranges, but a festival hosted by the Town of Orange, NH. This is one of my favorite shows and it is a treat to be a part of. Live music, yummy food, raffles, and all sorts of happy folks. I took a small custom order for a unicorn themed post-it cozy. What do you think?
Next fair is our local High School’s Christmas Fair. That means I have already started making Christmas cards, and to make that feel just a little bit more cringey, we woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Time marches on. Winter is coming. Call to get the snow tires on. I am not ready.
In the good news department: Go Sox!
