Wooden notebooks

Here are a few pictures of how my wooden notebooks come together.

DSCN0681This is my Dad and his saw mill.  He uses all sorts of wood to make beams, boards, book cases, whatever strikes his fancy.

Here’s a cool picture of the log with most of its bark gone.

Cut and sanded oak covers getting a few coats of mineral spirits and boiled linseed oil.
