Having visions

The studio has outlets and a floor!

Sometimes you have to imagine, or guess how something is going to turn out. You know what you like, and have an inkling that it will look good, but you really don’t know until it’s finished whether it’s to your liking or not.

I am experiencing this phenomenon in my craft AND my personal lives right now. We are renovating our home. Excitedly, these means we are getting a new kitchen and a art studio that didn’t exist before.

Most of my crafting supplies are packed away and I am stuck with only the papers, stamps, and materials that I guessed I would like to use 6 months ago. I am also without a designated crafting space which is definitely cramping my style.

My old crafting corner, but in the completely new kitchen.

But . . . we are seeing the light at the end of the project, and it is amazing! A pat on the back is deserved, we did a great job picking lights, wall color, and floors. And now we know because they exist in the spaces, and they look good!

I also know I picked good materials to use in my notebooks and cards, because they haven’t turned out too shabby, either.

Good things come to those who wait and all that junk, but good things also come to those willing to trust their guts and take a leap.
