Let’s face it, we all have too much patterned paper in our lives (don’t we?).  Sometimes you buy a pack and every piece is fantastic except one.  Or, you bought it so long ago that now you can’t imagine what drew you to it.

I figured out a way to update my paper just using the other thing I have a lot of of — rubber stamps!

I dug out a few pieces of paper that I think are boring and just plain yucky — pink lace, really?  Then I took out some of my stamps and a plain permanent black ink pad and got to work.

Now, I’ve got one of a kind backgrounds that I can’t wait to use on cards and note book covers.  And I spent an afternoon with inky hands,what could be better?
