Tag Swap!

Every couple of months or so, my crafty friends and I get together to chat, eat, and share a little something we’ve been working on.  Tonight we are sharing our new ideas with a tag swap.  Everyone brings a bunch of tags that they have made (ideally, they are all the same), and at the end of the evening, we all go home with one each of all the tags.  Hooray for new inspiration!

We sometimes swap cards, too, but we have all admitted that since we never send the cards that we get at the swaps, that it might be nice to work on a smaller scale for the sake of our home craft areas.

My tags for tonight’s swap are a little sassy, but I’m sure the gang will get a hoot out of them.  The tags were cut out on my Big Shot and I used Stampin’ Up stencils and Distress inks to get an ombre effect for my background.  The stamps are Dylusions, the glitter paper badge is Stampin’ Up Glimmer Paper punched with a Stampin’ Up punch, and the glitter on the edges of the tag is Stampin’ Up glass glitter in Champagne (fancy, schmancy).  The gold thread came out of a plastic baggie in the back of my ribbon drawer.

Getting together with friends is always a blast, but when you add in glitter and glue, the possibilities are endless!
